(1) In order to provide education up to the basic level, the Local Level concerned may provide monthly scholarship as prescribed to the children belonging to the prescribed communities of the more backward regions than the indicators prescribed in the perspective of human development index or economically destitute or the family of the citizen having disability.
(2) The scholarship received pursuant to sub-section (1) shall be spent for the management of educational materials or any other materials that can support in the learning of the students.
